Love, they say…

If you love someone, are you willing to go against the world? Do you love that person so much that no one else’s opinion matters? Do you care if your parents, family, or friends approve or disapprove? Does it truly affect you? Does that person touch your heart? Love, they say, is heartfelt—is that true?
They say love hurts inside, whether that person is away or lost to you. But what if that person doesn’t feel the same for you—is it still love? Love is joy, happiness, pain, comfort, strength, weakness, and so much more. Is that true? Love, they say, touches your soul. True love, they say, is eternal. Is it?
Love touches your emotions; it throws your feelings into disarray. Ah, love—they say it’s much more than just four letters. Love cuts deep, so deep you bleed inside. Love comes in many forms. But tell me—can you say you love me too?
And so I go on about love. How can you love someone who doesn’t love you back? When two people love each other, it feels so right. Can you feel it? Does love keep you warm inside? Or does love blind you?
Love… so much love that you get drunk off a four-letter word. Love, they say—but what is love? Do you invest in love? If so, were you paid back the love you gave? Is love sacred?
Love—so much love for the world to go around. Love, I said to her, but yet love wasn’t enough. Love, they say, but still, love didn’t work. Love, I’m so lost in it that I can’t find myself. Love has hurt me. Love has made me cry, but it has also made me smile. Love has made me whole.
Four letters that define so much. Four simple letters with so much weight. I keep thinking about love, but apparently, it’s not enough.
Love—hey, I found it, and it feels great. Love lives, loses, and repeats itself over and over. Love brings happiness, but also pain. Love smiles, but it also sheds tears. I tried to protect my heart, but love penetrated my cold, broken shell.
She didn’t realize it until he was gone. It was the same for him when he lost her.
Love, they say, until you bleed. Love is so fucking hard. It’s so hard to let go. But they say, fight for the one you love, if you truly love them. Love, with its endless questions, meaning, and emotions…
Fight for what you love.
What do you say?
